Homelessness is on the rise in North Carolina, with a 19% increase reported statewide from 2023 to 2024, according to a new federal assessment. In response, the Raleigh Rescue Mission has launched a bold initiative: The Garden — a new $25 million campus designed to serve women and children experiencing homelessness.
