Right now, more than 607,000 are food insecure across the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina’s 34-county area service area. At the same time, the USDA has announced a decision to end public reporting of food insecurity data nationwide. Jason Stephany, the Vice President of the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, joined Jeff Hamlin to discuss the USDA’s decision and the impact it will have on people.
