New tariffs on goods from Canada and China are set to take effect tomorrow, with a 25% tariff imposed on Canadian products and a 10% tariff on Chinese imports. Meanwhile, tariffs on goods from Mexico are on hold for now. President Trump has also suggested that tariffs on European Union countries could be next. Gerald Cohen, an economist at UNC-Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, joined Jeff Hamlin to discuss the potential economic impact of these tariffs.
