A total of 252 firearms were seized in Durham County in 2023, while 34 firearms were reported stolen. Both of those numbers are slightly higher than 2022. On Tuesday the Durham County Sheriff's Office released gun data from this past January and all of 2023. Durham County Sheriff Clarence Birkhead joined Jeff Hamlin on the WPTF Afternoon News to discuss the latest data.
