Duke Health has announced it has received $33 million in funding to develop osteoarthritis treatment that regenerates joints. Duke is part of a multi-institution research team that has been awarded funding from the federal Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health. The team is working to develop an osteoarthritis treatment that regenerates joints. Dr. Benjamin Alman, chair of the Department of Orthopedic and Surgery at Duke, joined Jeff Hamlin on the WPTF Afternoon News to discuss the partnership.
