Wake County and community leaders gathered Saturday night to honor over 40 individuals who lost their lives to homelessness in the past year. During the memorial, a rose, candle, and chair were placed for each of the 46 names read aloud — with one additional name added. Caroline Bond, an organizer of the event, reflected on its significance and joined Jeff Hamlin to discuss how this annual tradition, held on the winter solstice, ensures these lives are remembered.
