A dramatic turn of events at the latest Durham City Council meeting. Chicago-based developer Sterling Bay had plans to rezone Hayti Heritage Park into a new life sciences campus. Yet on Monday night, Sterling Bay abruptly decided to pull the request. The move came much to the surprise of Durham mayor Leonardo Williams, who openly wondered about the future of Hayti Hertiage Park.
