Award winning legend Marc Silvestri and NY Times best selling author Marguerite Bennett join the podcast to talk about the revival of the Witchblade series. Creatred by Marc Silvestri, the late great Mike Turner, David Wohl, and Brian Haberlin in the mid 90's, Witchblade has been one of Image Comics and Top Cow's best selling comics having a first run of 185 issues not including separate series where Witchblade was included.
Today, Marguerite Bennett has been tasked with helping to revive Sara Pezzini launching issue one in July to much fan fare. One of the best selling issues the week the relaunch took place, much anticipation from fans around this next run is high. Marguerite grew up reading Witchblade and has a passion in telling stories about Sara that stay true to who Sara Pezzini is.
Exciting news was broke on the podcast about an amazing homage cover for Issue 3 of Witchblade that will be familiar to fans of Marc's cover on Uncanny X-Men 251 and Witchblade 170.
We also spoke about the re-launch of The Darkness that will take place at the beginning of 2025 with Marc taking the writing duties!
