Los Angeles, 1924. The city is a powder keg. One side of town is draped in velvet and spotlight. The other bleeds. When a powerful crime boss’s family is targeted by a mysterious killer, he hires two private detectives—outsiders with nothing to lose—to track the killer down before an all-out mob war erupts. Their investigation leads them from smoke-filled jazz clubs to Hollywood studio lots, pulling back the curtain on the city’s darkest secrets.
