We kick off Holy Week with Part 5 of our message series, The Last Words of Jesus, as Pastor Brad House walks us through John 19:28–29 and Hebrews 2:17–18. From the cross, Jesus speaks two simple yet profound words: “I thirst.” But behind this moment lies a deeper truth about our human condition and our greatest need. The reality is, we are all searching and thirsting for something to satisfy our souls. We’re reminded that Jesus satisfies our thirst through the cross. He not only understands our humanity and suffering, but through His sacrifice, He makes a way for us to be fully reconciled to God. Jesus invites us to stop chasing what cannot satisfy and instead come to the only One who can.
