Under the blazing sun of the ancient desert, thousands of hands shaped stones into history.
They toiled from dawn to dusk, their sweat binding the golden blocks as tightly as mortar.
To the rulers, these workers were invisibleājust shadows moving in the heat, building monuments that would bear anotherās name.
Yet in the quiet of night, they whispered of freedom, of lives where their labor built homes for their own families, not palaces for the few.
Millennia later, in the glass towers of modern cities, the same story unfoldsāpeople laboring endlessly, crafting wealth for those high above while their own tables remain bare.
The tools have changed, the rulers wear suits instead of crowns, but the echo of the pyramid builders remains, carried on the wind:
āWe built wonders, but we were never free.ā
