<p>Maud Kells was born in Northern Ireland and grew up on a farm where church was more of a tradition than a heartfelt commitment. After coming to faith in Christ, she shocked her parents by announcing her call to the mission field.<br>When it came time for her placement, Maud asked to go to one of the most dangerous and unstable countries in the world — the Democratic Republic of Congo. Despite facing rebel attacks, robberies, and primitive conditions, Maud flourished among the Congolese people she came to love so deeply.<br>Her story is a powerful reminder of what God can do through a life fully surrendered to Him.</p>
