Show Notes

I have to admit, it feels pretty amazing to get dressed up like it's Prom Night and sit on a couch with a beloved friend to talk about progress in our careers and ways of helping others. Amanda Cortez, LMFT, is a remarkable business woman, therapist, and friend. We met as interns on our way to becoming licensed therapists, doing crisis work for a community based clinic. Since then, Amanda has blossomed into a successful entrepreneur and seasoned therapist with an incredible can-do attitude to always say yes and not let challenges get in her way.

On this episode, Amanda and I talk about the road to becoming a therapist and the experience of being one, the realities of crisis work, why getting fired can be the ultimate gift, the truth about entrepreneurship and relationships, and how to embrace psychic awareness and spiritual guidance.
