As leaders, we have to be so mindful about our words, what we say and get involved in.
The NLT Study bible calls the following behaviour 'death-dealing':
- lies
- arguments
- insults
- slander
- gossip
- rumours
- flattery
- bragging
- belittling
As leaders, we also have influence over our team and our peers. We have to be extremely mindful of what we say and be so careful not to get involved in things that can cause others to mistrust us.
