When talking about the magnums and 30 caliber hunting rifles, most accept the recoil delivered out of the box. Some think I am "anti-magnum" for this reason. I am not and really want to spread the word that if you are recoil sensitive or a younger shooter, you do not have to be anti-magnum either. There are many tricks to dropping the recoil and the big 30 calibers have huge range you can play with when it comes to manipulating these factors. The 300 PRC can be brought into line with the recoil of a .308 Win or maybe even less in some cases . It just takes some thinking and some tinkering. You do not have to be stuck with the punishment your rifle delivered out of the box. In this episode, I want to share with you some ways you can really tame it down and get into a comfortable range that almost anyone can shoot.
