Grace Thek - Gracie Lou Freebush

First up, Grace brought me a coffee, so she wins the award for the best guest. To be fair to the other guests, I haven't recorded an episode face to face in a while, but still, COFFEE! Grace burst onto the triathlon scene when she put on a finish line performance in her debut pro race in 2018 that had the crowd screaming as she kept falling to her knees. She is still relatively new to the sport, so can come across a little shy, however, I've gotten to know her over the past couple of years, and have even let her dog-sit Henry, so she felt comfortable chatting away. She's full of energy and passion, and we talk long-distance relationships, LAN parties, racing her Dad, playing dentists (what?) and I teach her about one of the best action tv shows ever - ALIAS!
