Amelia Rose Watkinson’s Cairns performance really just proved to the world what we already knew; she’s an emerging superstar on the triathlon course and in trivia. With complications of COVID, a shaky start to the race season, and uncertainties of the future of triathlon, ARW has been navigating rough waters. Despite it all, she managed to show that she isn’t ‘afraid of a little spice’ when she put together an absolutely stunning performance for her first iron-distance win.
