In September 2000, a six-year-old vanished from his apartment while his mother took a late-night swim. She claimed to be gone only briefly, but conflicting accounts suggest she may have been away for hours. With no signs of forced entry, no evidence of foul play, and the boy’s belongings untouched, investigators were left grasping at clues. Despite an exhaustive search involving multiple agencies, bloodhounds, helicopters, and cadaver dogs, not a single trace of the child was found.
