On August 31, 1975 a young boy disappeared while camping with his family. Thousands of community members quickly gathered to search more than 2000 acres for any sight of him. The search for him would later be named the most extensive woods search in the history of Maine. All that the thousands of volunteer searchers ever found were unanswered questions.
