Prior to 2020, responding to emergency health calls meant dealing, mainly, with routine cases of illness and common instances of trauma. But then, a sudden, unexpected and notable shift occurred in the frequency and type of cases that first responders, like Harry Fisher, were dealing with. “We could tell that something had changed, drastically,” he explains on ‘Pediatric Perspectives’ this week.
