WR424: Manitoba Podcast Festival

On Sept. 29, we held our second annual [Manitoba Podcast Festival](http://www.facebook.com/mbpodfest/) at the Park Theatre. This year's event was a big success, in part, because of the networking format we set up, which allowed podcasters, listeners, and everyone else to meet and share with local creators in every possible genre. This episode is a compilation of some of the conversations I had over the course of the afternoon with some of the participants, including (in chronological order): [Travelling Minds](http://libbyj.ca/podcast/), [Echo Podcast](http://www.echopodcast2019.com/), [2 Baked Girls](http://2bakedgirls.org/), [Thick & Sweaty](http://thicknsweaty.podbean.com/), [Koj-B Films](http://www.kojbfilms.com/), [This Ain't Babysittin'](http://www.facebook.com/thisaintbabysittin/), [Beaver Does Movies](http://beaverdoesmovies.wixsite.com/beaverdoesmovies), and CKUW's [Behind the Curtain](http://ckuw.ca/programs/detail/behind-the-curtain). These, of course, were only a few of the many podcasters at the event, and we're hoping to build on the festival's momentum with events throughout the year. This episode is brought to you by our friends at [The Park Theatre](http://myparktheatre.com/). …and by [Trevor Fisher](http://www.linkedin.com/in/fishertrevor) of Way2Wealth Management, a local Certified Financial Planner who can help you start planning your financial independence.
