WR407: Slattern (From The Archives)
When I transferred the huge Witchpolice archive over to the current hosting site, about 50 episodes from 2013-2014 got missed. Although they've always been available, buried on the old Witchpolice site, they've never been formally discoverable on podcast platforms like Spotify or Apple Podcasts. I [recently asked listeners](http://www.facebook.com/WitchpoliceRadio/posts/2248282975270760) which of these lost episode(s) they'd like to hear re-released, this one – with Julia Ryckman, a/k/a [Slattern](http://www.juliaryckmanslattern.com/) – was easily the most-requested. At the time this episode (WR084) originally came out in July 2014, Witchpolice Radio had a very different format. We (I wasn't the only host!) weren't only interviewing local musicians, but were asking them to select songs from their own record collections based on randomly-generated theme words. Due to the sketchy legality of broadcasting other people's songs without permission, the selections are edited out of this episode, but it's still a great conversation, and was one of my favourites of the early years of the podcast. This episode is brought to you by Osborne Village’s new pop-up record store, [Old Gold Vintage Vinyl](http://www.instagram.com/oldgoldvintagevinyl204/), and by our friends at [The Park Theatre](http://myparktheatre.com/).
