This week we continue in our discussion of marriage, specifically communicationNever an easy topic, but we discuss 5 ways to improve your communication in your marriage according to scripture!

What are you doing to season your marriage? Ephesians 5:22 says we are to submit to our husbands as unto the Lord, so how are we doing that? What does it look like? God intended for marriage to be an enjoyment, a reflection of our relationship with Him! But so oftentimes we just get lazy and comfortable with the status quo.

Peer pressure, we thought we left that behind in high school. Am I right? I didn't expect to face it so strongly as an adult, but yet here I am. Today we look at 1 Samuel 8, the Israelites were demanding a king because all of the other nations had it. They didn't consider the consequences that would come with it. Proverbs 6:6-9We are back in Proverbs talking about how to find the motivation to do the hard things. If you've ever found yourself feeling like you're surrounded by chaos, all of the time. Proverbs 27:23 says "Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds." Today on this episode we apply this scripture to our everyday patterns and rhythms in life.

Today we'll look at Paul's letter to the Hebrews and the warning and charge he gives them about protecting their heart from unbelief and hardness.

The story of Ruth has been a picture of redemption, the redemption you and I can receive through Jesus Christ. Christ's love has no limits and no returns. It's something that has been given to you and I freely. He's redeemed us from a real hell, so we could spend an eternity with him!

Today we'll look at Ruth chapter 3 and discuss how Ruth humbly submitted to Boaz and then waited for her future to unfold. Just as you and I submit our lives to the Lord and wait to see where His plan leads us. But waiting isn't always easy and tends to test our level of submission.

The things that happen in your life are there for a purpose. God has chosen to put things in our life on purpose, it's up to us whether or not we will glean them. But everything passes through His hands and has purpose in our life. Find more episodes at Wise Women Ministry

When God chose to save us He rescued us from a hell we could've never escaped on our own. He loved us in our most wretched state as a sinner who needed saving, and continues to love us through our mishaps, disobedience, and failures today. Ruth 2:4-10 we'll talk about how Boaz is a picture of Christ and we talk about 5 ways he provides for us just as Boaz took care of Ruth. Today we look at Ruth 2 and talk about how Ruth providentially ended up in Boaz's field. It was by God's hand that the pain had came into her life and it was also by God's hand that she found herself in the lineage of Jesus Christ. Pain isn't ideal for any of us, but God is a God of order and control and He knew we would walk through hard times before we ever did.
