Kassie is now an authentic midwife but reflects on her four births, beginning at the age of 19. Throughout her 20's, she discovered her passion of homebirth, becoming a doula, then a midwife, and she even got fired from a midwife practice for "trusting birth too much." Hence, she now practices as a traditional midwife, attracting clients that do not want an authority figure in birth, just the simple presence of a wise woman.
