ABC News Correspondent Jim Ryan talks about how Team USA added to its Olympic medal count Thursday, but not in the way that many had expected. Jordan Stolz, who’d been expected to earn Gold in the men’s 1500-meter speed-skating event, will instead bring home Silver. The women of Team USA Hockey continued their dominance of the ice, defeating Canada to win their first Olympic Gold medal since 2018. Today, the American women’s curling team faces Switzerland today, with the winner moving on to the gold-medal match. Meanwhile on the men’s side, Team USA is headed to the hockey semifinals against Slovakia. And while still nursing the severe leg fracture she suffered early in the Winter Games, champion downhill skier Lindsey Vonn has made her way back the United States.
