CBS News Justice Correspondent Scott MacFarlane talks about President Trump’s lengthy State of the Union address. Did he succeed in connecting directly with voters ahead of the spring primary or is the event being viewed as a distraction from serious policy issues? Any other takeaways from what happened inside the venue or outside? New legislation is being introduced today in the House to block any more taxpayer money from going to January 6th rioters. What does the House bill specifically prohibit? How much has been paid out to January 6th rioters in refunds or settlements so far? Is there a long list of pending or future claims that warrant such legislation? On the other end of the spectrum, lawyers for some rioters have proposed a "victims compensation fund" to award financial damages to those prosecuted for their roles in the riot.
