Job Market Freeze

The indicators were unmistakable signs that the job market is being dragged down by President Trump's tariffs, the immigration crackdown, and to a lesser extent, the rise of AI software. Sharp drops hit Wall Street on Thursday as technology stocks fell, and bitcoin plunged again to roughly half its record price set last fall. And while Amazon sales surged 14% during the fourth quarter, helped by strong holiday spending and a better-than-expected growth in its prominent cloud computing unit, the company's shares fell nearly 10% in after-hours trading as its profits fell slightly below analysts’ expectations.

ICE "Draw Down" "Effective Immediately"
ABC News Law Enforcement Reporter Luke Barr talks about how Border Czar Tom Homan said this morning the federal government will "draw down" 700 agents in the Minnesota area "effective immediately." He also said that CBP and ICE agents in Minnesota are aligned. Homan added that federal personnel providing security will not leave the city until the federal government sees a change in the "lawlessness" impeding ICE and Border Patrol agents. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz posted a statement on social media calling the announcement "a step in the right direction, but we need a faster and larger drawdown of forces, state-led investigations into the killings of Alex Pretti and Renee Good, and an end to this campaign of retribution."

Search Continues for Nancy Guthrie

Nor do they have any information about a suspect. Investigators do not believe Nancy Guthrie left her home willingly and that she was abducted in her sleep early Sunday morning, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
