A bodega cat is a cat who lives in and around a bodega or deli, often as a
form of pest control. They are most prevalent in New York City, where
although there is legislation around banning cats from living in bodegas
where food is prepared and sold, it is rarely enforced and the fee is about
the same as a citation for pest infestation anyway. Celebrate cats with
