Drugmaker Novo Nordisk says it will make the popular weight GLP-1 weight loss medication Wegovy more affordable for those without insurance coverage, dropping the price to $349 a month. The news comes weeks after the Trump Administration announced negotiating weight loss drug prices making them more accessible to consumers. We spoke with Dr. Joseph St. Pierre with Hartford Healthcare’s St. Vincent’s Medical Center about the ongoing news with price cuts on these injectables.
