According to the World Health Organization: in 2019, about 528 million people worldwide were living with osteoarthritis, which was an increase of 113% since 1990. It’s safe to say that osteoarthritis remains a very common joint disorder in the United States. That’s why a new treatment offered at Norwalk Hospital is such a big deal. We talked to Dr. Christine Chin about radiation therapy. Dr. Chin is a radiation oncologist and board-certified by the American Board of Radiology.
