Show Notes

Alison Weir, Executive Director of If Americans Knew and President of The Council For The National Interest, has been at the forefront of the movement for peace and justice for Palestine for over 12 years.  Alison joins us in this podcast to discuss what's going on with the US Campaign To End the Israelis Occupation's recent excommunication of her and IAK (see here for details) from their coalition.  This decision was based on a smear campaign by the leadership of Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) that did not accuse her for the facts she uses to expose the Israeli occupation of Palestine, but by attacking her with spurious arguments like guilt by association.  Anyone in the Free Palestine movement would expect this kind of attack by a Zionist organization like the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), but not from organizations within in the Palestine movement.  Could it be that the attacks were made because of the impact of her new book, Against Our Better Judgment:  The hidden history of how the U.S. was used to create Israel?  Don't miss this fascinating interview with Alison Weir.
