Show Notes

Ahead of Thursday's opening round at the U.S. Open, Charlie tracks down one of the best individual stories this weekend at Torrey Pines in San Diego. After nearly having to give up the game years ago, PGA Pro Chris Baker makes his first appearance at a major championship after qualifying this past week for one of the final spots in the field. Baker's story began in tiny Brownstown, Ind., and continued on golf courses in countries you likely never heard of. Most importantly, the dude never gave up. This story of perseverance is rewarded this week, on a course he has already competed under *more* pressure than he will see Thursday. Hint: Tiger. Enjoy the interview and we know you'll join us in pulling for Chris Baker big time this weekend.
