The Tuskegee Syphilis Study has to be one of the most shocking and unethical medical experiments in United States history. What was perceived to be a harmless medical study turns in to a 40-year nightmare for hundreds of African American men in the South, This episode exposes the truth behind the US Public Health Service study that promised care but instead delivered deception, denying treatment even after a cure was discovered AND readily available.
