She joins Kate to talk about some of the people and places that have shaped her life and career. It’s quite the collection: she’s been helped along the way by the likes of Prince and David Bowie; put on such a spectacular show that Stevie Wonder joined her onstage from the audience; and, after selling out the Royal Albert Hall on tour, returned there this year to pick up an Olivier Award for her performance in Sylvia! And she’s achieved it all with her signature mix of work ethic and humility.
