Mr. Matt Stait is a martial arts practitioner, instructor, and a best-selling author. He is founder at the Modern Samurai Martial Arts Academy.
It's really interesting that somebody with a good foundation in one art, I think, will have a much easier time understanding other arts because the fundamentals remains the same.
Mr. Matt Stait - Episode 534Growing up in a difficult upbringing where he lost his father through suicide, martial arts was there to inspire him and make him curious about training. Mr. Matt Stait tried Judo and Boxing but eventually he found Karate and stuck with it. Presently, he is the founder at the Modern Samurai Martial Arts Academy in the United Kingdom. Mr. Stait also trained on Krav Maga and Kapap. He is also an Amazon best-selling author of a couple of books including the Modern Samurai.
