To this day no one has been charged with ANY of these murders and the many stories that have been told primarily ignore the perspective of the voices that matter most - those of the victims and their families. The story of The Atlanta Child Murders is one full of false reporting, conspiracy, and pain. There were major racial, political, and economic factors in the city dubbed "Too busy to hate" that all played a role in the concentrated murders of black youth in primarily black Atlanta. PARENTS OF YOUNG BLACK MEN AND WOMEN PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS ONE While Black sat down with Mr. Genarlow Wilson who several years ago was charged with kidnapping, rape, aggravated sodomy, and convicted of aggravated child molestation after a consensual sexual act occurred at a New Years Eve Party. He was a 17 year old high school student and she was a 15 year old classmate. Today Genarlow is out of prison, a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta GA, and giving back so that our children don’t end up following in his footsteps. There isn't much more we can say here other than jump in and and hear the details. Afterwards we recommend you sit down and have a conversation with your teen about intersexual respect, sexting, and teen relationships.
