On this week's episode of Where Hope Grows, I sit with my wife and life partner, Katie Forrest to talk about all things bison ranching. We spend time to share and reflect on a few of our favorite (and most traumatic) stories as first generation bison ranchers. Through these stories we discuss how to cope with a 140 bison vision quest, what to do when a cult leader comes to your ranch, as well how our bison breeding program has evolved over time. These stories serve as reminders of the deeper wisdom and important lessons bestowed upon us in our journey through regenerative agriculture.
