Solo #3 What You’re Missing About Leading Younger Generations
I quit my job at Siemens. Did I do the thing Millennials and Gen Z get penalized for–leave a job because of a lack of resilience? Work expectations unrealistic? Turns out, high rates of burnout and distress symptoms are phenomena across generations. The younger generations mirror existing problems in society. How can we use this moment as an opportunity for dialogue to create healthier and engaging workplaces for all?

Show Notes
I think Millennials and Gen Z don’t have exaggerated workplace expectations. And I get, few of us are CEOs, setting company priorities, shaping company values, etc. for highly attractive workplaces. We may not have all the agency, but we have some.
Tune in as I talk about why I quit my job, my experiences being led by leaders with a modern leadership style, back in Switzerland, and why younger generations' outcry is an opportunity for dialogue to create healthier and engaging workplaces for all, and how to have that dialogue.
