Andrea Knabek was a 37-year-old mother of two boys. Recently laid off from her job, Andrea also worked as a volunteer investigator with 'Missing in America'.
On August 12, 2019, Andrea had a rough day. She spent the evening at her sister Erin's house, venting to her. At 1:00 a.m., Erin drove her home to her mother's house where she had been staying with their other sister, Sara. But at 1:37 a.m., Andrea was back knocking on Erin's door.
Erin told her to go back home and watched Andrea start walking in that direction.
Andrea Knabel was never seen again.
The woman who worked at finding missing persons, had become one herself.
