When a 7-year-old goes missing, the world should take notice.
On May 3, 2002, it is believed that Alexis's stepdad, LaRon, walked her to school that day. But from there- no one quite knows. Alexis wasn't in class, and her mom didn't realize she was missing until she didn't come home from school.
Alexis was a fun-loving, happy, first-grader who loved school. She had a perfect attendance record until that day. There were very few clues in and around her Milwaukee neighborhood to lead investigators to Alexis, or any theories on what happened.
There would be a variety of leads over the years, but still no Alexis.
