"Use the game, don't let the game use you"
Trey Phills exemplifies this phrase better than anybody I can think of. The Yale graduate turned tech startup founder, and content creator used the game of basketball, and a professional career that spanned through the G League, NBA Summer League, and overseas to propel himself into a position that not many athletes find themselves in at just 26 years old.
Now recently retired from the game, we sat down with Trey to discuss what has allowed him to get to where he is today. Dealing with the loss of his father at a young age, having to carry the legacy of an NBA parent, and navigating the difficult space that is professional basketball while also running two businesses off the court.
If you're somebody looking for a blueprint on how to maximize the game, and allow it to open doors you never thought possible, then congrats, you're in the right place! Tune in for an amazing conversation with a brother of ours, Trey Phills.
