A couple of years ago I was put onto DEACON, an artist with an effortless style and a penchant for storytelling.
Since interviewing him November '18, he dropped his EP "Cotton Wolf" and more recently, his Mixtape "Polaroid Nudes". He also started his own monthly open mic "Blank Space" in his native Tooting.
In this catch-up, we talk about the lockdown "which dropped a couple of days before our recording", barbers, the aforementioned projects, life as a creative, getting a team and of course, his Top 5.
