Show Notes

In a week where:

  1. Facebook is now Meta.
  2. COP26 begins.
  3. The world passes 5 million COVID-19 deaths.
  4. Ethiopia calls a state of emergency as Tigray rebels move to the capital.

In the first of two Life segments: (6:02) FaceBook is now Meta which gives me yet again another chance to shit on FaceBook and implore everyone to delete it.

In the 2nd Life segment: (17:59) No matter where you're at in life as a black man, there's sometimes that you're just that, a black man. Even if you're 4th generation, Black British.

In Music: (33:20) Gil Scott-Heron amongst other legends have recently been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. And in my learning of Hip-Hop history, it's important to hail artists like Scott-Heron who were basically Hip-Hop before the word was even coined.

Lastly, in Film/TV: (46:19) BBC recently held a worldwide panel to pick the best TV show of the 21st Century and *SPOILER ALERT* they picked The Wire at the top spot.

Thank you for listening! If you want to contribute to the show, whether it be sending me questions or voicing your opinion in any way, peep the contact links below and I'll respond accordingly. Let me know "What's Good?"
