Their promotion debuted on TBS in early April, and by the end of the year, they were headed to their third Starrcade loaded with such talented superstars as Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Ivan and Nikita Koloff, the Rock and Roll Express, Arn and Ole Anderson and the Midnight Express with Jim Cornette. But as they headed to Starrcade '85, much of the attention was on the storyline between two phenomenal athletes: Tully Blanchard and Magnum TA.
