This week, Nate and Francis discuss a TPM article in which it is revealed that the January 6 riot participants are trying to make the case that they have diminished capacity because they watch too much Fox News and that Trump made them do it. Will it work? Who knows, but we also argue for accountability and against double standards, while also trying (maybe failing) to walk an anti-carceral line.
For this week's bonus, Francis and Shocks discuss a recent letter by retired officers claiming that the military has been infiltrated by 'Cultural Marxism.'
