Juan Soto said he’s being pitched differently without Aaron Judge hitting behind him. Gio doesn’t see that as an excuse, just an explanation as to what’s happening. Boomer thought it was more of a compliment to Judge than a slight to Pete Alonso. Gio thinks the sensitive fans are the ones making a big deal out of the comments. Soto being in the lineup is helping Alonso for sure. The Mets are off to a great start, there’s nothing to complain about.
