Losing a loved one, particularly a boyfriend, who takes their own life is an incredibly traumatic and distressing experience that can leave a lasting impact on the person who witnessed it. Witnessing this tragic event may cause one to go through a range of emotions and reactions, each of which is a unique response to a profoundly distressing event. It's important to approach this topic with sensitivity and compassion, as there is no one-size-fits-all description for how someone might feel or react.
