In this episode meet Sally the founder of Backpacks for Vic Kids. Hear the story of how this charity started and all the amazing work it does. The purpose of Backpacks for Kids is to aid children going into foster care and to aid foster care families. Often children are placed quickly into foster care without much more than what they are wearing at the time. Backpacks for kids strive to provide them with a few essential items to help with the first 24-48 hours of relocation.
