Trying to Seduce the World

Normally, we think of seduction as an attempt to gain sexual favors, but if we use the term more broadly perhaps we can see the extent to which we will go to get Life to deliver the rewards we desire. It is not so much the circumstance that will satisfy, but how we will feel when the circumstance is achieved. This, of course, begs the question of whether we need the complexities of achieving our desired circumstances in order to feel whole and complete. Or, is there a more direct path?
