Our true self is already fully awake. Of course, believing such a statement does no good whatsoever. But if it is true, then to ask “How do I get enlightened?” is to ask the wrong question simply because you cannot become what you already are. It is far more useful to ask, “What am I believing that is causing my un-enlightenment?”
